American Classic tours and Music Festivals was founded in June of 1989 by former music educators and advised by teachers in other disciplines. As teachers, our travel experiences with both student and adult travelers showed us both the rewards and the challenges of planning, organizing , and supervising music and education trips for both students and adults.
It was clear to us that the benefits of travel were many. We also recognized that planning the trip on our own could consume large amounts of time, and create additional headaches and stress. On the other hand, we weren't always impressed with the help we received from travel agents who just didn't understand the specialized needs of our groups. We discovered that turning the responsibilities over to sponsor or boosters wasn't always the time saver that we hoped or worked as well as we wished.
American Classic Tours and Music Festivals was formed as a result of these experiences.
We are dedicated to providing friendly, professional, cost-effective travel and performance services specifically geared to students of the arts of all ages - from elementary through adult.
We specialize in music performance tours for bands, choirs, orchestras, jazz bands, mariachis and educational travel for theatre arts, language study, fine arts study, and history/government study groups for students of all ages.
Whether it be through music festivals or U.S. or international tour services, we are dedicated to providing quality and value to every musician, student or teacher regardless of age of affiliation.
We also offer sacred music tours which are geared to the particular areas of interests of any denomination.
