From its’ beautifully restored historic buildings to the magnificent Great Barrier Reef, students are immersed in a maze of cobblestone streets and Australia’s glorious harbor. Get an all-access backstage pass to Australia’s most famous landmark Sydney’s Opera House. Perform with Australian Groups throughout your tour, breathe in the culture, taste the local cuisine, and touch nature.

Sample Itinerary

Day One – Travel day – Sydney, Australia

  • Depart/Arrive Sydney Australia
  • Check into your hotel
  • Explore Paddy’s Markets filled with a wide variety of; food, fashion, gifts and gadgets in a true market atmosphere
  • Dinner Time at Nick’s Restaurant at the Promenande Cockle Bay Wharf, an iconic Sydney location
  • Let’s call it a night – you need a good night’s rest for tomorrows activities!

Day Two – Sydney/Blue Mountains

  • Weet-bix for breakfast with some strawberry jam perhaps
  • Hop aboard your private motorcoach for your journey to the Blue Mountains
  • Arrive in the Blue Mountains – Check out some of the excursions you’ll be a part of:
  • Scenic Skyway offers breathtaking views of the rainforest with its glass cabin floor and floor to ceiling windows.
  • For those not quite as daring choose the Scenic Cableway, fully enclosed cabin offering spectacular views of Three Sisters, Orphan Rock, Mt. Solitary and Katoomba Falls.
  • After disembarking the Scenic Cableway, and stroll along the Scenic Skyway. Experience tranquility as you immerse in the ancient rainforest.
  • Are you ready for a thrill? Emerge into ancient rainforest at the Jaison Valley floor riding the steepest passenger railway in the world Scenic Railway. Choose between the ‘Cliffhanger,’ a 64-degree incline or the “Laid Back’ option
  • Depart the Blue Mountains and return to your hotel to freshen up for dinner
  • Taste a bit of China with dinner in Chinatown.

Day Three – Sydney

  • Board your motorcoach for a private tour of the Sydney Opera House, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site, hailed as “one of the indisputable masterpieces of human creativity, not only in the 20th century but in the history of humankind”.
  • Say Cheese! PHOTO ON THE OPERA HOUSE STAIRS
  • Next stop – The National Opal Collection (20 min walk) View Australia’s famous opals and learn of their history and how they are mined and processed for market. Don’t forget to buy a keepsake!
  • Board the Captain Cook for a lunch cruise along the Sydney Harbor
  • After lunch, it’s time for the famous BridgeClimb – scale to the summit of the Sydney Harbour Bridge!
  • Walk back to your hotel at your leisure
  • Time to dress up for your night at the Opera
  • Enjoy Dinner before seeing La Traviata, an opera that fills the stage with glamour, joys, and sorrow.

Day Four – Sydney

  • Ready for an Aussie breakfast?
  • Board your private motorcoach for your journey to the Wildlife Sydney Zoo, home f the Aussie Big 5! Hop like a Kangaroo, meet Ringo the Wombat, come face to face with a saltwater crocodile, watch the resident platypus swim and play, and take a pic with a cuddly Koala.
  • After cuddling with the Koalas, it’s time to board your private motorcoach to Marist College for rehearsal
  • Is Shrimp on the Barbie on the menu tonight?
  • Performance time!
  • Return to your hotel you have an early day tomorrow

Day Five – Sydney/Brisbane

  • What will it be today? Smashed avocado on toast, poached egg…
  • Check out of your hotel and depart for the airport – You are on your way to Brisbane!
  • Get some zzz’s on the plane; this is an overnight flight.
  • Arrive in Brisbane and enjoy breakfast
  • Time to head to Southbank – Don’t forget your music equipment and performance uniform.
  • Stroll through the beautiful green landscape of Southbank and marvel at it’s vibrant Arbour
  • So many choices to enjoy lunch on your own.
  • Board your private motorcoach – your on your way to St. Laurence’s College
  • Enjoy a spot of tea before your sound check and rehearsal
  • Are you up for a hamburger with ‘the lot’? Yummy, meat, tomato, bacon, pineapple, beetroot, egg, & lettuce.  Now we’re talking!
  • Hope your not too full – It’s time to Perform!
  • After that amazing performance, you need your rest. Board your private motorcoach and transfer back to your hotel.

Day Six – Brisbane/ Cairns

  • Today let’s try Brekkie in a skillet!
  • Check out of your hotel
  • Hop aboard your private motorcoach to the Queensland Conservatorium for your music workshop(s).
  • After your workshops travel to the airport – you’re heading for Cairns
  • Arrive in Cairns
  • Check into your hotel
  • Today is a day of rest. Chill out by the pool, take a nap, just enjoy (Lunch money will be provided)
  • Enjoy a yummy dinner before bed. Maybe try the ‘snag’?

Day  Seven – Cairns/ Great Barrier Reef/ Cairns

  • Breakfast time! Smoky bacon, fresh farm eggs, ripe tomatoes – Yum!
  • Grab a towel and board your private motorcoach – Let’s explore the Great Barrier Reef!
  • Check-in Marlin Jetty and depart on a Reef Magic Cruise
  • Warm up with a cup of tea and lunch
  • It’s time to explore!
  • Semi-Submersible & Glass Bottom Boat tours, guided snorkel tours with a Marine Biologist, participate in a field activity – Eye on the Reef Key Indicator Species / Rapid Monitoring Survey, a 360 degrees radius swim identifying the percentages of the different types of coral (live/dead), coral rock, coral rubble, and sand, participate in water quality testing methodology and record the results and add the data to the Reef Magic Education and Research program.
  • Depart Outer Reef and arrive back at Marlin Jetty
  • Re-board your private motorcoach and return to your hotel to freshen up for dinner
  • Enjoy dinner at your hotel – We’re thinking Barramundi!

Day Eight – Cairns/ Kuranda

  • Vegemite spread on hot toast with a cup of Bush tea – Now your Australian all the way!
  • Depart on your private motorcoach to Freshwater Station for your train trip to Kuranda, the village in the rain forest.
  • Arrive in Kuranda and explore the Koala Gardens, Birdworld, Butterfly sanctuary, and enjoy lunch and refreshments on your own

Day Nine – Cairns / Travel Home

Say a sad goodbye to the Land Down Under time to depart for home
